My career objective is to join a challenging nursing organization that requires the deployment of core leadership skills in order to address the challenges facing the organization. This will typically entail the practical application of nursing leadership strategies through appropriate decision-making, problem solving and critical thinking. In addition, I would like to work in a challenging environment through which I can enhance and effectively utilize my nursing management and leadership skills (Marriner-Tomey, 2004). It is my career objective to increase the scope of my nursing skills, by working in an organizational position, which will facilitate the utilization of my strong organizational skills and nursing leadership theories, in order to work effectively with other organizational members with the primary objective of enhancing the both personal and organizational productivity (Marriner-Tomey, 2004).
