One might survive any natural disaster or catastrophe. However, the key role in the fight against it is proper preparation and awareness of actions to be taken in case of an emergency. For instance, one should be informed about the steps that need to be taken beforehand, including making adequate supplies, establishing an emergency plan (evacuation shelters), etc. (Castellanos et al., 2015). However, professional help provided by medical and social services remains important due to a high amount of communities unable to procure themselves. In such cases, extra supplements and additional resources might be useful for an adequate response to the emergency. This enhances the importance of public health nurseries; also, one has to consider that a large portion of the population may be in desperate need of help due to physical disability.
