A leadership approach called transformational leadership has the power to motivate followers to make progress. This is my style because I am a vivacious, enthusiastic, and passionate person. I feel committed to assisting each group member in succeeding, in addition to being interested in and engaged in the process. My main goals are to inspire growth, encourage loyalty, and instill confidence in groups. I often work on the development of my plans and strategies because it is beneficial for a long-term perspective. Individual goals are more closely matched with the collective overall objectives so that each group member’s success helps the organization reach its objectives.
In nursing, this type of leadership is beneficial as it allows for the incorporation of the most innovative ideas into practice. This approach aims to inspire nursing personnel to go above and beyond expectations and learn new abilities and techniques to boost productivity. Setting a good example and encouraging nursing staff to think independently and act to enhance skills, policies, and procedures when they identify a need for change are common components of the transformational style. In general, a transformational leader can help the organization achieve maximum productivity from nurses to provide the best care and ensure improved patient health outcomes.
