Introduction
The purpose of this report is to evaluate the article “Impact of Nurse-Patient Relationship on Quality of Care and Patient Autonomy in Decision-Making” written by Jesús Molina-Mula and Julia Gallo-Estrad. In this paper, the author analyzes the nurse-patient relationship in order to examine its impact on clinical practice. The writers also discuss the effects on quality of care and patients’ ability to make decisions. Significantly, he received the International Outlanding Reviewer 2020 Award from Healthcare magazine in 2021 (Molina-Mula & Gallo-Estrada, 2020). Another author is Julia Gallo Estrada, who is employed at the Nursing and Physiotherapy Department, Universitat de les Illes Balears. Her research interests are in the field of nursing and patient care (Molina-Mula & Gallo-Estrada, 2020). Therefore, her contribution to the writing of this article is extremely beneficial and weighty from a practical point of view.
It is specifically significant that her field of studies also relates to the care of the elderly. This leads one to assert that she understands the peculiarities of nursing care. It is also essential to characterize the publication; it is an international journal of environmental research and public health. This is an interdisciplinary journal with open access and publishing articles once every six months, ensuring the publication of quality material.
