In my opinion, a life well-lived is lived in such a way that it makes a difference to someone else’s life. This is the philosophy with which I have led my life up to this point and at all times, I try to make a difference in the lives of the people that surround me. However, I believe that it takes more than raw skill and good intentions to make an optimal difference in the lives of others. A strong educational background is necessary for one to truly make a positive impact. It is with these undertones that I aspire to join this Institute to pursue a course in Nursing. I realize that many other young people are aspiring to join this institute and I hope that with this brief description of myself, my ambitions, and experiences, you shall find me a worthy candidate for this prestigious institute.
I believe that what defines me most as a person are my determination to succeed and my desire to make a positive contribution to society through my career. Academically, I have always been deemed as above average and I have been fortunate enough to have teachers who encouraged me to strive to achieve my goals in life. Over the years, I have come to firmly believe that education is the key to achieving success in life, and from my previous educational experiences; I can assert that the quality of education offered also contributes a great deal to a person’s success in their profession of choice.
While I have always aimed at positively impacting the lives of other people through my career, I have not always known for certain which career would best help me fulfill this. I believe that my experience as a volunteer in a clinic last year established my passion to take up nursing as my career of choice. In the clinic, I experienced firsthand the immense good that professional care by the medical personnel combined with compassion can do to society. The goodwill and care that the staff at the clinic demonstrated inspired me a lot. I, therefore, opted to work towards pursuing a career in nursing where a caring attitude accentuated by meaningful communications is driven by the noble motive of restoring health to the clients.
Considering my ambition to become one of the best nurses in the country, an institute that prides itself in the establishing of a sound theoretical base to its students and application of the same in clinical practices would be the most suitable platform from which to launch my dreams. The Institute name is not only dedicated to providing an above standard education for its student but the institute is also reputed for endorsing teaching methods that enhance the student’s theoretical knowledge and translating the same to real-life scenarios. For these reasons, I believe that Institute name is the most suited school for me for it is credited with producing above standard nurses.
I am very passionate about pursuing my career in nursing and it is my unwavering belief that institute name is the best institute for me to fulfill this goal.
