The variance of a practicing doctor is a severe problem in medicine, as it carries serious consequences, although the reason may be insignificant. The variance of the practitioner is often associated with laziness or the unwillingness of the medical service provider to work, in connection with which various incidents may occur in the future. The problems that are created due to the deviations of the practitioner put people’s lives at risk. Undoubtedly, such variations must be stopped for patients to be safe. To do this, it is necessary to take several important steps, for example, monitoring by higher authorities and fixing the deviations of the practitioner with subsequent decision-making on dismissal. It is also necessary to create a document that will regulate what exactly is a deviation to avoid disputes and misunderstandings in the future, as well as to fairly judge what was and what was not a mistake of the practitioner.

In different years of life, people may need different types of medical care, namely qualified care in a medical institution and hospice care. Both types of assistance aim to provide services for people, but they are still different. Qualified medical care is required in case of illness, as well as when it is necessary to get results from treatment, that is, to recover. Hospice care is provided to older adults who do not have family or other home care. In addition, hospices often provide care services when a person is in the last years of life. The primary purpose of hospices is to give comfort to the patient and direct medical care if necessary (Hoyt, 2021). Hospices, unlike medical institutions, do not provide treatment, and the patient’s recovery is not the primary goal of this institution.
