Specialty clinical systems will also be put in place next for obstetrics and gynecology, dental services, and internal medicine. Other specialty ones include the emergency and radiology systems. They function as source systems. The core clinical systems will be developed last. The implementation of the supporting infrastructure and connectivity systems is usually on going with the establishment of the other two.
A Hospital With a Wide Spectrum of Services
Its method of implementation will involve the initial setup of all the source systems with that of clinical applications. The specialty clinical systems will be formulated depending on the services the hospital offers. The core systems will be set up last. The connectivity will be a continuous process that overlaps the implementation of the others.
